Frank finished his MSc thesis

Frank van der Hoeven had this week his MSc thesis defense. The topic he investigated is "Crack Width of Reinforced Concrete under Combined Imposed Deformation and Mechanical Loading". He used the small TSTM-setup that Minfei Liang developed during his PhD and incorporated rebars into the concrete specimens. He studied the effect of autogenous and thermal shrinkage on the crack width that develops in early age reinforced concrete.
